Sustainability
Me & My Box works continuously with world goal no. 12: Responsible consumption and production
High quality*: generally when we source our jewelry parts, all our jewelry parts are made in the best quality in terms of semi-precious stones and pearls, and metals that are either plated with 18K gold or 925S sterling silver. The purpose of this is that when the pieces become finished jewelry, they will last longer and not just be thrown away.
The jewelry boxes: our jewelry boxes, which are our packaging, are produced based on the idea that they will subsequently function as storage for jewelry parts and finished jewelry, and as decoration in the room, as the design and material are durable and stylish. Likewise, our small acrylic buckets in the box are made from recycled plastic.
Displays: all our future displays are made in either re-board and/or fsc certified cardboard. Thus, all elements can be reused after use. They are also designed to be packed together, so that when we transport the displays, they take up less space. We produce most displays in the EU.
Transport: we transport all our larger orders by ship twice a year.
Every day we work with a focus on how we can continuously improve our consumption and production when we both develop, produce and deliver products to several markets.
